Adrian Salic

Adrian Salic is Professor of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School. He obtained his PhD with Marc Kirschner (Harvard University), followed by postdoctoral studies with Timothy Mitchison (Harvard Medical School). Work in his laboratory has focused on three directions: 1) mechanistic studies of cell-cell signaling through three key pathways in animals: Hedgehog, Wnt, and TGFbeta; 2) studying how viruses remodel cellular membranes, to support viral replication and evade detection by innate immunity; 3) developing novel chemical tools for the microscopic visualization of biological molecules.
